IMCD Awarded Platinum Sustainability Medal by EcoVadis

IMCD announced it has been awarded the Platinum medal by EcoVadis, ranking the company among the top 1% of all businesses assessed globally for sustainability performance over the past year. IMCD received an overall score of 84 points in the evaluation.
EcoVadis assesses companies across four categories—environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement—using a methodology aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, and ISO standards.
IMCD’s performance was strengthened by structured supplier screening practices supported by its membership in Together for Sustainability (TfS), as well as by employee development programs such as Women in Leadership and Rising Leaders. The company also earned recognition for its environmental initiatives and commitment to aligning with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
“Receiving the EcoVadis Platinum medal is a meaningful confirmation that our efforts to embed sustainable practices into our daily operations are paying off,” said Cecile Westerhuis, group director sustainability at IMCD.
