Henkel introduced Loctite Liofol LA 7837/LA 6265, a solvent-free aliphatic adhesive system developed for high-heat applications such as retort packaging. Designed for use with PET/Alu/CPP and polyolefin structures, the system meets global food safety standards with high temperature resistance up to 134 °C and ultra-low monomer content. The adhesive cures at room temperature, eliminates the need for energy-intensive drying, and enables efficient processing on conventional laminating lines. It supports flexible packaging formats in the pet food, ready meal and pharmaceutical sectors while helping reduce material and energy consumption.
