PPG announced a strategic partnership with Toyota Motor Europe, establishing a long-term collaboration to support performance, efficiency and sustainability across Toyota and Lexus collision centers throughout the region.

Under the agreement, PPG becomes an approved provider of automotive refinish products and services. The PPG, Nexa Autocolor and MaxMeyer brands are now included among Toyota Motor Europe’s approved paint offerings. Beyond coatings, PPG will supply digital tools, technical expertise and specialized training designed to enhance body shop operations and environmental performance.

Key areas of collaboration include digital tools such as PPG VisualizID digital color matching and the PPG MoonWalk automated mixing system, which streamline operations and improve accuracy. The partnership also incorporates PPG Sustainability CO₂ncept, a system that helps reduce energy use, waste and emissions during the repair process. Training and certification programs through the PPG Refinish Academy, along with consulting services, will further support repair quality and operational excellence.

The agreement provides a regional framework for implementation, which will be coordinated with Toyota’s national teams. The collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to sustainability and technological advancement within automotive coatings.
