Perstorp Oxo AB increased selling prices for oxo chemicals and plasticizers globally, effective immediately or as contracts allow.

The company cited sharply rising raw material and energy costs, along with changes in supply and demand following the Middle East conflict, as the primary drivers for the adjustments.

In the United States, price increases include $0.17/lb for 2-ethylhexanoic acid, 2-propylheptanol and isononanoic acid, $0.13/lb for 2-ethylhexanol and n-butyric acid, and $0.10/lb for n-valeric acid. Additional increases apply across Europe and other global regions on a per-metric-ton basis.

Perstorp said the increases reflect the total adjustment previously announced earlier in March.
