Ceramic-Filled Epoxy Lining Protects Wastewater Infrastructure

Induron Protective Coatings highlighted the performance of its NovaSafe lining system in a wastewater infrastructure project in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
NovaSafe is a ceramic-filled novolac epoxy designed for steel and concrete surfaces in treatment plant applications. The lining provides resistance to strong acids, alkalis and hydrogen sulfide commonly found in wastewater systems, while withstanding the full pH spectrum under constant immersion conditions.
The system is designed to achieve high-performance protection with a thinner film than traditional high-build systems. Its single-leg application and extended pot life support field installation, helping reduce downtime and labor demands in infrastructure rehabilitation projects.
