Fortech Products reported 2025 coatings sales of $20-$25 million while marking 30 years in industrial coatings and lubricants.
Fortech Products is a global manufacturer of TechKote, a series of low-VOC, water-based, high-heat, corrosion-resistant coatings, as well as its TechDraw forming lubricants, TechKool metalworking lubricants, TechLap lapping compounds, TechKleen industrial cleaners and TechPro rust preventives, holding various OEM approvals.
Fortech is a leading automotive industry supplier of rear axle, propshaft, power steering pump, engine pulley and damper coatings with its TechKote WA 2951 F/FE series, followed by the next-generation TechKote WA 2951 FEX corrosion-resistant coatings designed to meet even more difficult requirements.

Fortech has since expanded its industry capabilities, moving into the commercial truck and off-highway agricultural industries, supplying TechKote WA 2975 R water-based, extreme chip-resistant coatings, TechKote WB 2804D steel structural joist primer, as well as the TechKote WB 2500 series for OCTG pipe coatings, TechKote WB 2700 series for the rail car industry and the TechGrip pedestrian antislip product line. These products are fortified with superior adhesion properties that may be applied over bare steel with less-than-ideal surface preparation.
Notes: In February, Fortech introduced TechKool™ FT 3000D, a light- to medium-duty semisynthetic metalworking fluid for machining and grinding ferrous alloys. The company said the formulation is yellow-metal safe and made without chlorine, sulfur or triazine.
In 2025, Fortech established a warehouse in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
In December, Fortech marked its 30th anniversary, highlighting three decades of developing industrial coatings and lubricant technologies for manufacturers around the world.
