Sherwin-Williams Names 2027 Color of the Year

Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams have jointly selected Celery as their 2027 Color of the Year.
HGTVAvailable as Celery SW 6421 from Sherwin-Williams and Celery HGSW6421 from HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams, the light and airy herbal green offers a fresh interpretation of the nature-inspired colors continuing to influence home interiors.
The Sherwin-Williams Trendsight Team selected Celery in response to what the company describes as a growing desire for calm, connection and fresh perspectives in residential spaces. The color is intended to balance a soothing presence with enough freshness to work across a range of interior styles.
“Celery was chosen as the 2027 Color of the Year because it reflects today’s priorities: wellness, balance and connection,” said Ashley Banbury, color marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams.
Sherwin-WilliamsSherwin-Williams also developed a coordinating palette around the color. The collection includes lighter neutrals such as White Flour SW 7102 and Woven Wicker SW 9104; softer accents including Potentially Purple SW 6821 and Cosmos SW 6528; and grounding shades such as Artichoke SW 6179, Georgian Bay SW 6509, Kirsch Red SW 6313 and Plum Brown SW 6272.
Minwax Pickled Oak MW 260 semi-transparent stain complements the paint palette, allowing designers and homeowners to combine painted surfaces with natural wood texture and warmth.
