CRC Evans Opens 90,000-Square-Foot Protective Coatings Facility
CRC Evans has opened Pioneer House, a 90,000-square-foot manufacturing and technology facility at its Burnley Centre of Excellence in the United Kingdom.
The expansion doubles the company’s Burnley operation and combines advanced manufacturing, engineering, specialty welding, protective coatings and digital capabilities.
Protective-coating operations include multi-layer epoxy and polyurethane systems, high-temperature finishes, thermal metal spray, advanced polymer coatings and intumescent fire-protection systems. The facility also incorporates controlled production areas and quality-assurance systems for work in regulated markets.
CRC Evans said the center will support customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australasia and Latin America in sectors including energy, nuclear, defense, aerospace and critical infrastructure.
