The Sherwin-Williams Co., Cleveland, said its Thompson Co. subsidiary, a producer of waterproofing and deck-care products, has launched its biggest television advertising campaign yet, planning to spend $10 million on ads created by the Hanft Byrne Raboy & Partners agency of New York. The commercials will deliver a pitch that includes the message that Thompson’s wood-protection properties “never take a day off.”
