The new rheological additive (RA) produces strong initial anti-sag results, even under these very low-energy mixing conditions with no added heat. The stability following accelerated aging is also greatly improved relative to the commercial RAs. The new RA activates quickly and does not require a lengthy heat up period during paint or adhesive manufacturing.

 This luminous metal effect pigment line utilize the strengths and advantages of pearlescent pigment technology combined with the highly desired properties of aluminum substrate, which is made possible by a patented passivation process. 

This article describes a designed set of experiments that compared the coatings properties of two-component waterborne polyurethane coatings and two-component solventborne polyurethane coatings.

 The unique hybrid chemistry of oxidizable phenolic-based urethanes combines the drying property of fast-drying oeloresinous vehicles, the chemical resistance of phenolics and the toughness of urethanes. 

Traditional two-pack PUR technology combined with surface-modified nanosilica particles results in increased scratch and abrasion resistance in transparent, high-gloss coatings for plastics.
