BASF Coatings has entered into a strategic partnership with the BMW Group to supply the company’s aftersales network with its premium refinish brands, Glasurit and R-M. The partnership will see BASF’s brands become preferred paint options for BMW’s aftersales network in more than 50 markets where the company does not have a private label presence.
The partnership will also include a focus on sustainability, with BASF set to provide BMW and MINI body shops with its Glasurit 100 Line AraClass and R-M Agilis Pioneer Series product portfolio. These products are designed to offer high-performance solutions while also reducing the environmental impact of the refinish process.
In addition to its product offerings, BASF will also provide BMW’s body shop network with training and support to help the company’s dealers meet the evolving demands of the market. This will include a focus on process efficiency and the adoption of more sustainable practices.
