This case history of a Chinese paint manufacturer shows how using an Integrated tinting system that included colorants, color formulas, dispensing and mixing equipment, software, technical support and equipment service, helped the company save time and money. 

 Perhaps the most important emerging technology to reduce long-term energy consumption, especially in large plants building new mix rooms, has been the use of electric pumps. 

 A team of coatings industry experts worked together for as many as 10 years on the testing and adoption of this standard. The methodology in this new cycle applies not only to automotive coating systems with steel and plastic substrates, but can also apply to aircraft coatings as well as coatings for other industries. 

Samples and feed rates needed of each color pigment were sent to the bulk bag discharging system manufacturer for analysis. They took it from there and designed the system to meet these criteria.
